This USB to USB file transfer /direct link cable allows you to share files and transfer data easily.   A solution for peer-to-peer file transfer between two computers via a USB port.  The cable is approximately 6 feet long and has over-current protection. Unlike earlier versions of this cable, which had a built-in flash drive containing the driver, the driver is provided on a CD. Before plugging in the cable, insert the CD, and navigate to the ". . .USB1.1" folder on that CD. Run the Setup program, then restart the computer. The PC will be ready for insertion of one of the USB plugs on the cable.  This cable provides true plug-and-play capability while transferring files at a greater speed than traditional file transfer products which use serial or parallel port connection.  Up to 12M bits/sec can be achieved.
