The original Kid Pix was created by a dad - Craig Hickman - for his three year old son Ben. Craig discovered how much Ben loved to create art with the computer when he introduced him to a full-featured paint program.  but Ben often got frustrated with the "big" program, so Craig decided to solve the problem by writing a paint program just for kids.  Kids just naturally love to create pictures and stories, starting with their very first scribbles.  All too often that childhood enthusiasm and joyful creativity disappears over the years.  "Stay inside the lines," someone says, or "Grass should be green, not pink," or "That doesn't look like an elephant to me."

Kid Pix is a super souped-up drawing screen where every move turns into art.  With the Wacky Brush you can paint wild patterns right onto the screen .  Pour multi-color fills onto your drawing with the Paint Can.  then turn on the Electric Mixer to jumble your masterpiece in a bunch of crazy ways.  Want to add color?  You have a palette of 112 tints and tones to choose from!  And with the DrawMe and ColorMe features (under the Goodies Menu), you might end up creating a few things even wilder than your imagination!

Wacky TV
The Wacky TV is definitely not your usual television set.  You don't just watch it.  Choose the movie you want to show from the one hundred digital video clips that come with Kid Pix or use other movies that you've saved.  Throw in some special effects with the Electric Mixer and you'll be downright flabbergasted.
